me- "What is it, buddy?"
Tripp-"Charlie's looking at me and I don't like it!"

Charlie has added a couple new words to his vocabulary- "bah" for ball and "ba-ba-ba"  for & said just like banana

Camping

We have a camping trip or 2 in the works and have been talking about it a lot lately.

So, Tripp begged to set up his tent and the whole ensemble.

In exchange for picking up his bedroom, he got to set up camp in there.

After setting up camp, lunch was in order.

 Grillin' a little something for later.

This is what happens to boys who "actually don't take naps" when they decide to start the day at 4:45a.m.

I was sweeping in the boys' bathroom today and Tripp was in his room "cleaning"

Tripp: "I'm going to check on my worm."

(He caught a worm a few weeks ago and put it in this bug barn thing he made with  my Dad)

Tripp, walking into the bathroom where I was: "Oh, he's dead. Here I just dump it out right here for you to sweep up. Okay, Mama?

'Preciate it!"

Ha! No Problem, Son!

Me, reading my Fortune Cookie: "You have an ambitious nature and will make a name for yourself."

Tripp: "Hey, I have a nature shelf!"

Tripp: "Is it Friday, yet?"

Me: "No, it's Wednesday. Tomorrow is Thursday and the next day is Friday."

Tripp: "This Friday I'm going to spend the night with Devi and Poppie. Sometimes on Mondays I go to Georgia and sometimes Devi and Poppie come play with me while mama and Charlie go to Jackson."

While talking about Will graduating from MSU in May, Tripp says...

"I'm so proud of dada for his colwege. I'm proud of Poppie, too. Poppie and Dada are cool dudes."
